This Ninjago will not disappoint whoever it is you're getting it for. This set has qualities builders of any age will enjoy. The dungeons themselves are impressive to look at, from the Sorcerer's treasure room and workshop, to the rotating statue that controls several features, and the board game layout of the set all contribute to its impressive appearance. The treasure room has a fun hinged door that replicates the lava effect from the show. The workshop has several fun small details, a picture of the skull, a pink wand, and even a mannequin wearing armor. The statue to the left of the set, when turned, makes parts of the floor move and the cage start to move, creating a fascinating visual effect. The path markings on the set, plus the paper board game and spinner that are included, allow for children to test their luck, travel across the dungeons, and create endless adventures. The Hero ninja are impressive, consisting of mostly new printing, with some pieces from season 11. Vania is exclusive to the set and, after her key role in the season, a great minifigure for children to have. The Skull Sorcerer has a strongly villainous vibe as well as the Awakened Warrior. The Murt and Ginkle characters are also fun additions, able to play heroes and villains. I do give a word of warning, if you buy your children this set, they will most likely want the Skull Sorcerer's Dragon and Wu's Battle Dragon sets so they can have all of the ninjas from the season. If you have the opportunity, this will make for a great birthday or holiday present for anyone in your life.
