Happy Lunar New Year. Lego welcomed 2019 with a new Year of the Pig promotional set, distributed for free with purchases over $88 (offer was valid 01/28/19 through 02/07/19). If you missed the initial promotion, you can still find this adorable little piglet on Lego.com.

This set is best described by the word adorable. I got this and was really happy to see this little set in my bag. It was a really fun build and I honestly was surprised. Since most lego store giveaways are pretty basic. This set was really cool once it was built and it’s a fun build. I really enjoyed getting this set and think if the opportunity ever presents itself you should definitely buy it hopefully for a reasonable price. The pig is fun with a good look and display near some of Legos other holiday builds such as the Easter Bunny, Thanksgiving Turkey, and Christmas Snowman. The pig can come off of its stand if you want to remove it. The pigs has some great details and well-selected pieces like the half curve pieces used as hooves. Overall this is a really fun build with a great end result very appropriate for the year of the pig. Happy 2019!

Welcome to My Website

I can't remember a time when I didn't love Legos. I never get tired of talking about Legos or of comparing notes with people who are as enthusiastic about building as I am (if that's possible). I hope this site serves as a resource and as a source of inspiration for kids just starting to build their collection, as well as for master builders whose shelves are as full as mine.
